Welcome To The Emsworth Music Club

A little word about Corona-Virus!

The Emsworth Music Club are actively monitoring and following advice from the Government and Public Health England. Based on this advice and in consultation with the venues we use, most of our gigs for this year have been  either cancelled or postponed.

The Government are now gradually easing up restrictions on public performances with limited outdoor gigs able to go ahead with Social Distancing etc.  However full inside gigs are still not happening and you can rest assured we put your safety as a priority and will not go ahead with indoor gigs until both the Club and yourselves feel it is safe to do so.

Stay Safe

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Website and hope you can find  the event of your choice and purchase tickets.  We are a friendly club with a maximum of 60 seats at our acoustic events and 90 at our slightly louder events. We also have a 250 seater venue for large big name acts.

Whilst we are mainly a Blues based club, we will bring you everything that Blues stands for including all of its modern day variations such as Americana, Folk, Rock and even Reggae, plus you never know we may well have some other surprises as well.  Why not come along and give us a try, you may well like what you hear.

We mainly operate from Hewitts Cafe in South Street, Emsworth but occasionally will use The Chidham Village Hall at Chidham Lane near Chichester or The Emsworth Baptist Church Hall in North Street, Emsworth.   All events will notify you about the venue and ticket prices and all venues are licenced for the sale of alcohol with the exception of the Emsworth Baptist Church Hall.

Buying your tickets in advance from BOOKENDS in Emsworth as they will be slightly dearer on the door for the night of the gig, online tickets will be subject to a booking fee.  However, at all gigs you will be able to purchase tickets for any advertised gig at Hewitts for a reduced price.

The Emsworth Music Club likes to promote a policy of the best listening experience to our audiences. So when musicians are performing please show respect to them and those listening by keeping any conversation quiet and very brief. Needless to say all mobile phones should be turned off. Please don’t spoil it for others. You can always wait till the break to have a good old natter or go outside to talk.

Please subscribe to our site below to receive regular updates about events.

As you are probably aware, we have now cancelled most of our gigs for this year.  At the moment we only have Pulse which is still hopefully going ahead on its rescheduled date and The Spikedrivers in December but its still possible they may not go ahead this year.

Booking of acts for 2021 has already started, with a few of the cancelled artists, plus some new ones and hope by then normality or almost will be resumed.

Refunds are available if wanted, or you can use your ticket as a “credit” to redeem against any future gig including those that have been rescheduled.  Alternatively you may offer it as a donation to the club to help offset costs for lost monies ie printing etc.
